This program is built for clarinetists who want to grow musically and also enjoy the joy of playing in a welcoming, inspiring environment.
You’ll love this if you want:
A supportive clarinet choir/ensemble experience (no “competitive conservatory pressure”)
A chance to explore jazz fundamentals and improvisation (beginner-friendly)
Daily rehearsal structure + real performances
A trip that feels like joining a community, not a tour

Most days follow this flow:
Jazz Workshop (morning) — start the day with rhythm, style, listening, and improvisation concepts
Clarinet Ensemble Rehearsal — blend, tuning, phrasing, musicianship, and repertoire coaching
Afternoons/Evenings: cultural experiences, special events, and community time
Performances: concerts + open mic night + final concert production

Participants will rehearse and perform a selection of engaging works for clarinet ensemble, including:
Works by Rossini, Nino Rota, and Italian film composers
Jazz-influenced and contemporary ensemble works
Lyrical and traditional repertoire for full clarinet choir
✨ Special Highlight:
“Heart of Biccari” — a newly commissioned work for Clarinet Choir & Harp Ensemble (3 movements), premiering during the festival.
